The Geopolitics & Empire Podcast has informally been in existence since 2012 (as Dissident Thinker) until its proper incorporation in 2015. It was born of Hrvoje Morić's yearning for truth which he could not find among the mediocre halls of academia. He taught during the day to put food on the table, while producing the podcast into the wee hours of the night without compensation and only to satisfy his curiosity, and the curiosity of thousands of listeners who eventually joined his cause over the years. The podcast had always been a moonlight hobby and passion project for Hrvoje. In 2021, he left the field of education for the time being. From 2022 to 2024, he put Geopolitics & Empire on the backburner, while he hosted and produced a live program on the now defunct TNT Radio station, where he interviewed 1,000+ guests. On the Ides of March in 2024, he decided to risk it all and try his hand at podcasting full-time. Most podcasters don't make it. Being able to monetize and grow in a dystopian algorithm ghetto is near impossible. But that's where you come in. In late 2025, Geopolitics & Empire was obligated to introduce dynamic advertising.
